Life is starting to make sense..

There have been numerous possibilities, numerous dreams, and a large amount of different goals set for myself. Life is the most complicated thing to understand. Trying to figure out what to do with it only makes it harder. Throughout my childhood I had the cliche dreams and goals for life. Lawyer, doctor, firefighter, and so on. When I picked up the game of golf and realized I had potential, being a professional golfer became my dream.
Realizing how tough it was to accomplish that, I set up a back up plan. It was to be a successful businessman. After high school, I quickly learned that there are so many possibilities in life. The dream of pro golf was still there. But, I was having problems truly discovering myself and my destiny. After changing my major twice and giving up the dream of golf, I was stuck. Life didn't make sense at all.
Dealing with heartbreak after a serious relationship had ended made things worse. But, an opportunity came along to be an intern for Yellowhammer Records. I'm a firm believer in things happening for a reason. This happened for a reason. Not knowing exactly why this happened, I went in with a mindset of trying to grasp why I had been placed in this situation.
While sitting under former American Idol winner, Ruben Studdard and Singer/Songwriter for Atlantic Records, Michael Warren, and. seeing their drive and passion to do something great inspired me. I want to spend my life promoting music, managing the business, and if I ever get a bit of musical talent, hopefully make it.
Life finally makes a little sense, but I don't believe it's meant to be fully understood. So I'll take what I can get. Ruben, Michael, Skoolie, and the rest of the people at Yellowhammer Records have become more than friends. They're my family, and I'm forever thankful to them for this opportunity. Now it's time to finish college to get my degree in Public Relations and Communications. I will also be giving college golf another shot. Until next time...when something else is on my mind.
